Stark zerfallene Burg auf einer steilen Klippe. Der Weg dorthin erschien uns zu riskant, weshalb wir das ganze nur aus einiger Entfernung gesehen haben.

The path isn't great here. Luckily it wasn't too wet, muddy or slippery when we visited. Fast Castle is a rumble but just to go there and see the view is worth it. It's stunning. It's a steep climb back up so you have to be reasonably fit.

It's not the most exciting castle; in fact it's rather disappointing. It also downright dangerous as it is literally perched on the edge of the 100-foot high sea cliffs, and one slip and you'd be a gonner. I wouldn't recommend taking children here unless they are teenagers and under close supervision.
On the flip slide, you do get wonderful views up and down the coast, so if you're into photography then maybe head here but only if its dead calm.

Not for people with walking difficulties./wheelchair.
Steep descent to the ruins and walk up as well.
Definitely go there when wheather is nice for two main reasons: better view when not cloudy and part of path can be muddy and slippery when wet.
Beautiful views around the ruins, nice place for picnic as well.

If you enjoy a bit of an adventure then this place is worth a visit,On a clear day the views are amazing you can even see as far as Fife! along with the rugged coastline nearby.It takes about 30 minutes to get to the Castle although be careful as it is a steep path down and depending on your fitness levels the path back up takes a little bit longer The little causeway can be a little tricky so please take care and enjoy the views

From the Castle carpark its 1.4km all downhill so be aware coming back all uphill but we'll worth the visit. The 3ft rock to get up after the little bridge onto the castle ruins is very smooth but I'm only 4ft 11 on my own managed to clamber up. The views and silence were well worth it. Stayed for a good hour just breathing it all in. I followed Google maps down the tarmaced farm track to get here and parked at the clearly marked Castle carpark rather than the cottages it tried to take me to. No charges noted and path clearly signposted.

Its a fair walk to get to the castle ruins and back, but it's so incredibly worth it as you get spectacular views of the headland and coastline. There isn't much left of the castle itself but it's a very dramatic spot and worth it just to walk over the bridgeway!

Barren and windswept ruins where a castle used to be. Nothing left bit still a very beautiful place to walk and visit. Avoid if the wigs are really high and be advised this is not suitable for wheelchair users etc.
Nice unspoiled area and worth a walk to see.
