Recently, I had a rolling shutter motor fail on a door that had been installed quite a few years ago and because of the short period of time that I had available to receive a new motor and install it, I was in a huge jam. I called Florida Automated Shade and they helped me determine the correct motor model number and had it shipped it out the same day. I am very grateful for their support, information and quick response!!!!! Hopefully, I will never need their help again; but, if I do, I will definitely reach out to them...

We purchased ceiling to floor lithium battery operating shades for our living room and manual shades for our bedrooms. The final installation was in March of 2022. By the fall of 2022 we noticed that all the shades were fraying. Fraying occurs when the fabric of the shades was not properly cut. This is not an inexpensive project. We contacted Doug both via phone calls and texts, after multiple messages he finally responded saying that he had asked his installer to coordinate a visit with us to come out. This never occurred. We again find ourselves trying to reach Doug for months and he does not respond. Shame on them, obviously they do not plan on taking accountability for their quality and certainly speaks’ volumes about their business ethics. Stay away!! I will continue to make this right proceeding with all available avenues.

Great service! Order a remote for an older roller blind motor and the order was filled and delivered in two days. But it turned out to not be compatible. Wasn't their fault - the manufacturer (Somfy) incorrectly gave information saying it would work. Florida Automated Shade was prompt in providing return instructions.

I have never experienced this. Doing myself the motorization of the drapery and shades in my home it's been so challenging. So many companies won't help or guide you if you're not using their business and/or going to give them the whole job. I ended up ordering through FL Automated shades, it saved me thousands of dollars PER ROOM. Doug is the one who helped me understand what to order, what size, what types of bracket, of snap tape, literally everything. I am not exaggerating if I say that he has spent over an hour and half or two on the phone with me over the span of two weeks. SO HELPFUL and patient, and caring, and got me the best deals. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
