I came to the store with a gift card I had previously purchased. The people I gave it to were unable to use it because the cashier said the card wasn't working. I returned to the same store to find out why the card wasn't functioning. The manager began explaining how to correctly enter the card's numbers to make it work. It's clear that the cashier, not the customer, should be entering the card details. It was impossible to get a refund for the card, and we had to pay for the items out of our own pockets because the cashier couldn't process the card.

The manager started instructing me and blaming me for the card not working, even though it's the cashier's responsibility. When I asked why I was being trained, I was ignored, and then they started yelling at me, saying they couldn't refund the money. I tried to defend myself by raising my voice, and in response, I was accused of being rude, which left me feeling helpless and portrayed me as a beggar.

This was very poor service. The staff is untrained, and I will no longer be purchasing gift cards from this store. Today, I had to look for another store to use the card, spending a lot of time and energy. I am not sure if the cashier at the other store will be able to use the card. I do not recommend buying gift cards from this store, and I will not be buying anything there again.

The manager, who is unable to listen to the customer, doesn’t know how to answer questions and talks about unrelated topics, clearly shows a lack of knowledge in their job. They cannot resolve issues or take responsibility for their mistakes. Instead, they drive the customer to a state of helplessness, avoiding the core issue and resorting to personal insults. This is an extremely poor manager.

I love cotton on but if you really want a large range of clothes, this is not the place to go. It has their basic clothes but since the shop is small, there's not much to offer. Took me 1 minute to scan the whole shop and walk out. It's good if you're just casually shopping though.
