This store has such a beautiful collection of furniture and other items. What really made the visit special was Carol. She was incredibly warm, friendly and funny. She made the whole experience memorable. This was my first time in and absolutely will NOT be my last. I bought a gorgeous set of cesca dining chairs for a genuinely unbeatable price.

The store owner sold me a so called vintage hat for 80 dollars, but you can buy a brand new hat online for the same size and model for $52 (photos below.$52 is the original price on this hat’s brand official website, not a price on sale). And they are not sure about the price of another item and charged very expensive. I don’t recommend this place at all unless you want to waste your money and time!!!

I want to clarify my concern: I purchased this hat from your store under the impression it was a vintage piece and paid $80. However, I later discovered that the hat is a new product and is currently sold on the official website for $52, which is the regular retail price.

Given that I live in Amelia Island, several hundreds miles from Orlando, it is inconvenient for me to return your store to exchange the item. Since the hat was sold as new and not vintage, I respectfully request a price adjustment to match the official retail price of $52.

I am happy to provide additional documentation if needed and hope we can resolve this matter promptly. Thank you for your understanding.

I contacted the owner last week, and they assured me it would be resolved this week , most likely before November 28. However, they haven't replied to my follow-up messages either here or via text.

I understand it's a busy time with the holidays, but I would still appreciate a resolution to this issue. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Three weeks ago, I contacted the store owner, who promised to resolve the issue and provide a price match during the week of November 24. However, I have not received any further response or update from the owner since then, despite multiple follow-up attempts.

This lack of communication and accountability is disappointing and reflects poorly on the store's customer service. I would still appreciate a resolution to this matter.

When the owner eventually responded, they refused to offer any resolution, citing a "no price adjustments, all sales final" policy. Instead, I was accused of trying to harm the business by leaving honest feedback about my experience.

Future customers should be aware of the following:

-Pricing: Verify the original price of items before purchasing, as there’s a risk of being overcharged.
-Customer Service: Be mindful that this store does not offer follow-ups or after-sales support, as per their stated policy.
-Communication: Based on my experience, the store's approach to customer concerns may feel dismissive.

While the store might have unique items, my overall experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend it to others.

My husband and I stopped by Echoes of Retro today at the urging of a friend and the store was more than we hoped for. Carol was lovely and their selection was quite impressive. We left with a truck full of stuff including an amazing Lane coffee table, two gorgeous mid century nightstands, and lots of little pieces and art. Prices were super reasonable and the staff is as friendly as it gets!

Absolutely love this place! The owners are so friendly and I just wanted to hang out in the shop all night! Went to 'take a peek' and left with several amazing furniture pieces! Highly recommend! If you like elegant, eclectic, retro, mid-century style, Echos of Retro is a must! They have a customer for life!

Not a good experience as I can see from other people with similar reviews. They have now blocked me and will not respond to requests for payment shortage on dining set they sold after my mother passed. Terrible customer service as they promised to “make it right”. Beware of doing business with them. I now will be going another route to try and recoup money owed to me as well as notifying BBB. I am unsure how amount is correct. One-half of sold price is $925.00. I was paid $651.00. Incorrect. Prove the numbers to me.

You should be ashamed of yourself telling lies. Marvin mentioned what good shape the set was in. Don’t make things up to cover your tracks. I sent info to the BBB where you agreed to 1/2 of the $125 you first noted for recovering the seats. You never mentioned a charge for pick up or upholstery charge so that is a moot point here. How do you justify 1/2 of sale being $925.00 and paying $651.50. That does not add up.
